Monday came out SWINGING. Gwyneth Paltrow, best known in the music world as “why is she performing at The Grammys? That one stint on Glee?” is in talks with Atlantic Records to release a country album. I know our teachers/parents/guidance counselors always told us “dream big”, and “you can do anything you put your mind to” and “get a job”, but it feels slightly diminutive to people with actual dreams when famous rich people get to be both mediocre AND successful. Why can’t I be the sixth Stroke who just plays the tambourine? Nevermind, let’s just think of a bunch of names for her album!
